Apex
Series (close out) This is the
upgrade to the Helium 100.
It is well worth it for the better material alone. The Apex was
introduced in July 2006 to offer alot more than the 100 for just a few
more dollars. The material is an upgraded ballistic nylon instead
of a polyester. It is stronger and aesthetically more appealling.
Delsey has applied the same principle throughout the line with regard to
upgrade.
Lightweight graphite/fiberglass frame, the same used in the
construction of golf clubs and tennis rackets. Constructed of durable
ballistic material with Eva foam backing. Trolleys expands 2.5 inches and
have fully lined interiors with 4 pockets, toe down straps. Recessed locking
Trolley™ handle with easy access push button to
lock and release. An added feature is
the protected and recessed Velocity™ bearing
wheels for an easy roll and a Polypropylene kick plate for protection.
And there's self repairing interlocking #10 nylon coil zippers on the
main openings for added security. Comes in
Midnight Black,
Nordic Blue and
Cardinal Red.
Recognized by leading
consumer magazines, Wall Street Journal and Smart Money. Delsey developed
special graphite
technology not available to other manufacturers, even in the high end
price points. Smart Money rated the Carry-On Suiter Trolley higher than
all other
brands, even brands that were 5 times in price.
