Commemorative Fountain Pen
Crafted from hallmarked
solid sterling silver, this collectible
features engravings of historic tennis
racquets on its body. It is also distinguished by a
solid 18-karat gold nib, plated with brilliant rhodium,
and engraved with a tennis racquet design. The racquet
shaped pocket clip was created with
Swarovski crystal, and the front section
is decorated in a unique engraved pattern.
A.T. Cross Company has introduced solid sterling silver fountain pen to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island. The limited edition of 1,954 pens, each individually numbered, launched in July 2004.
The Cross International Tennis Hall of Fame pen is packaged in a lacquered, solid birch, brass-hinged, velveteen-lined box with a unique magnetic clasp closure. The International Tennis Hall of Fame insignia is embedded in the base of the box and a certificate of authenticity is enclosed. Each pen is accompanied by six ink cartridges, a converter and a jewelry polishing cloth.
